About Evelyn

I am one of ten children; going to our local library while growing up was a highlight for me.  I have been an avid reader my whole life; supporting and encouraging my children and others to foster a love of reading also. Wherever we have lived, the library has always been the first organization we joined; Goffstown was no exception.

Once established here, I volunteered to work in the library at Maple Avenue School and with the Reading Specialist. I became more involved with GPL as a bookkeeper at Town Hall, managing the LBOT’s banking and accounting needs while forging a closer bond with Library staff. I joined the Foundation during its formation as Vice Chair and plan to continue my efforts in support of the capital needs of the Goffstown Public Library.

Other than gardening and spoiling my  pets, I work in accounting part time locally and spend time on duties related to the fundraising goals of the GPLF.
