About Bill

Ten years ago, Bill Babine volunteered to help the Friends of the Goffstown Public Library raise money to fund the GPL Museum Pass Program. Since then, Bill has helped the Friends expand the book sales under tents, cut pies at the “Once Upon a Pie” fundraiser, and increase the FGPL financial support for children’s, teen, and adult programs at the Library.  Continuing his support for the Library, Bill joined the GPL Foundation to help to promote the proposed Library addition, and, now, he participates in the GPLF goal to raise funds to improve the GPL infrastructure.
Bill was a high school English teacher and soccer coach for forty years, including 15 at Goffstown High and 21 years at John Stark Regional.  Currently, Bill participates in a few craft shows and craft cooperatives displaying wooden hardwood toys, hardwood puzzles: animals, dragons, dinosaurs, and outdoor benches.
