“The public library is one of Goffstown’s gems! The historic building is at the center of our community, both physically and emotionally. But it’s over 100 years old. If it’s going to last another 100 years, we need to take care of it. That’s why I’m supporting this campaign.”

“Libraries are a testimony to the vibrancy of a community. A place where parents encourage their children to seek out hidden gems of literacy resources. As a community grows so should its public library, so I’m glad to donate $1,800 early in this campaign as my commitment towards our future residents.“

“Last February, I attended a workshop entitled “Historic Preservation 101” put on by the Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP). After attending this program, it appeared to me that the historic nature of the Goffstown Public Library, and the strong public support that it enjoys, made the GPL a perfect candidate for an LCHIP grant. I was thrilled when I heard that the Goffstown Public Library Foundation had agreed to support this grant application via a major grant match campaign. This seemed to me like a great first step toward tackling some of the many renovations that the Library is so desperately in need of.”
